The two Wizarding Worlds can be enjoyed on individual days, or you can purchase a park-hopper ticket, which allows you to commute between the two parks on the same day, by way of the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwarts Express is an iconic train ride where you can relax and enjoy delightful Harry Potter scenes along the way.
As you make your plan to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you may want to do a little bit of research before you embark on your exciting adventure. Below, you will find a shortlist of things that you may want to consider, to make the most of your day, or days, at the Harry Potter-themed parks.
Consider the Harry Potter rides that You Want to Enjoy
At the Islands of Adventure, you will find Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and Flight of the Hippogriff. Flight of the Hippogriff is appropriate for people of almost any age, and for those that are taller than 36 inches. The other two rides, the Forbidden Journey and Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure are restricted to people who are at least 48 inches tall. Both of these rides are a bit more adventurous than some other options, and may not be suitable for everyone in your party. If you are aware of restrictions before you arrive at the ride, you may be able to avoid some disappointment from those that are not able to participate.
The ride that attracts many people to Universal Studios is the Escape from Gringotts. This ride is appropriate for guests over 42 inches tall and is considered to be a relatively tame ride.
Arrive at the Park as Early as You Can
If you are staying at one of the Universal Orlando resorts, you will be able to arrive at the theme parks earlier than the general public. Arriving early in the day will provide you with the best opportunity to avoid large crowds.
